Growers Calendar: February

I know I am posting a bit late, but I haven't had the chance to update the blog in a while.

I have been clearing and digging three of the beds and I have added some mushroom manure.

The rhubarb starts to pop out of the ground and the Swiss chard, protected by clothes, seems to be doing quite well.

The over wintered broad beans and peas look OK.  The fava varieties I am growing this year are Sutton dwarf, Karmazyn, Stereo, Manita and Bunyard Exhibition.  And the peas varieties I am growing this year are Ying Yang, Purple podded, Waverex, Ambassador, Douce Provence and Kelvedon Wonder.
